SatLink

The SatLink module makes use of a VSAT (Very Small Aperature Terminal) deployment to provide a direct uplink anywhere in the world. The dish deployments can provide speeds up to 5Mbps downlink and 2Mbps uplink. This allows the TacSat system to backhaul voice, data and video through the satellite link.

No longer is an emergency response incident isolated from the rest of the world. Now governments and agencies can learn about what is going on on-site firsthand, rather than through public media channels. Now an incident commander can call out using the vTac video communications module and speak face to face with the Governor, or President about the incident.
